i’m watching the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe,
I find it intriguing how in both the the first (the magicians nephew) and second books both leave the key to Narnia in the hands of an older man who seems incapable of using such a gift, fails to see it’s glory or seems to have given up. it seems to quite accurately represent the spiritual stagnation in the world.

motivation
eludes me. How am i supposed to get a 4.o this semester, become an RA, drink my weekly quota, get in shape for rugby, work and not die? oh and learn spanish. the realization that i may not be able to drink this weekend is casting a gloomy shadow over my good intentions.
